Abstract
The proposed research will investigate homecare giver practices that employ reciprocal learning in home healthcare settings. A conceptual framework will be presented in order to explore the effectiveness of healthcare practitioners who implement and utilize the reciprocal learning processes. These processes include theories of performance, learning, and relationships. The thesis is that these patients experience greater homecare results than those who do not receive reciprocal learning care. The researcher's conceptual framework will provide basis for a study to gain insight into the precursors of reciprocal learning practices, the nature of reciprocal learning relationships between caregivers and patients, and how these are built. In addition, the research will explore the nature of those reciprocal learning relationships and how they are established. The purpose of this research is to comprehend the impact and effectiveness that reciprocal learning has on the home healthcare environment.
