Abstract
This paper addresses how to coordinate multi-site work. It presents four types of models and then gives examples of the models. These models are: functional areas of expertise, product structure, process steps and customization. The paper looks into each of these four structures for organization and then discusses the benefits and drawbacks of each. Annotated bibliographies about team management from the Weatherhead School of Management Executive MBA Class of 2007.
