Abstract
This article applies to managers who are looking to build a successful virtual team. The reading is also recommended to individuals currently participating or planning to participate in a virtual team. It provides a keen insight into how the 5 stages of team building relate to virtual teams. This information would be of use to mangers or team members who are interested in applying these stages (forming, storming, norming, performing and adjourning) to overcome obstacles such as culture differences, individual commitment and conflict that may present themselves in a virtual team environment Annotated bibliographies about team management from the Weatherhead School of Management Executive MBA Class of 2007.
