Abstract
This article is a necessity for anyone in business. It provides fact-based information for why the traditional approach to control and hierarchy based organizational structures must evolve. Additionally, it outlines an action research approach that can be used by large multinationals that may be struggling with flexibility and leveraging its global footprint.
