Abstract
Jimmy Meyer examines the history of birth control and the establishment of the Maternal Health Association in Cleveland, Ohio. Meyer outlines the legal context of contraception in the United States and details the history of the Maternal Health Association from its founding in 1928 through its role sixty one years later.
