Abstract
In response to John Grabowski’s exploration of Cleveland’s neighborhoods, Robert Gaede examines neighborhoods’ historical formation, architectural character and social dynamics. Gaede addresses the challenges faced by modern neighborhoods, and how these neighborhoods persist as focal points for collective action and identity.
