Abstract
The theory of infinitely divisible semi-Markov matrices is a generalization of both the theory of infinitely divisible probability distributions on the real line, and the theory of infinitely divisible Markov matrices. One of the results in this paper is that the imbeddability in a continuous semigroup of transition kernels extends from infinitely divisible distribution functions and infinitely divisible Markov matrices to infinitely divisible semi-Markov matrices.
