Abstract
The purpose of this thesis study is to present an example of how Zero-Base Budgeting techniques can be used effectively in a firm's budgeting system. Specific forms and procedures are presented. The example used in this study is the Babcock and Wilcox Company, which has had experience with Zero-Base Budgeting. The thesis presents single level and multi-level models for use in ZBB in an organizational context.
