Abstract
The Neonatal Project is a research project undertaken by faculty and staff from the departments of Operations Research in the School of Management and Pediatrics in the School of Medicine, Case Western Reserve University. Phase I of the project (Jan. 1 - June 30, 1975) is funded by the State of Ohio Department of Health. The ultimate purpose of the project is to produce well documented recommendations on locations of Intensive Care Units for Newborns (to be called "NICU's") in the state of Ohio, and if possible, to produce well documented recommendations on the modes of transportation to be used in transporting neonates to NICU's.
