Abstract
This paper discusses computer-aided comparisons of performance of alternative policies for patient and worker scheduling in a practice involving expanded function dental auxiliaries. The comparisons are made in terms of net earnings, total number of patients served, worker utilization, etc., using computer based simulation. Predetermined scheduling is proved to be an efficient method under a wide range of conditions.
