About

The CWRU Journal of Economics is a student-led initiative, launched in Fall 2023, that offers experiential learning and career development opportunities for economics students. We publish analyses of the Ohio region and beyond, along with academic working papers from coursework and independent research. The Journal serves as a platform for students to explore economic research, build data analysis skills, and connect with peers interested in economics.

How it works:

• Students work in teams with fellow economics students on their projects.
• Student leaders collaborate with teams to refine research ideas, fostering academic and career mentorship between younger and older students.
• Throughout the semester, teams meet with faculty mentors to receive project feedback and to form connections with the Economics Department.
