Abstract
With the upcoming election dominating the headlines, Regionally Speaking decided to take a closer look at the voting process on the ground level. This week Jocelyn Travis, the Ohio NAACP Civic Engagement Coordinator, talks about her interactions with young voters. Just recently, for example, she had a discussion with Case Western Reserve University undergraduates taking the "City as a Classroom" course offered by the Social Justice Institute. Jocelyn describes her motivations and inspirations for working at the grassroots level.
