Abstract
There is a proliferation of applied probability models in the literature on flexible manufacturing systems. Many of these models make the LIFO, FIFO assumptions, but in actuality, there are a host of other sequencing rules that can be, and are applied. We investigate the impact of the sequencing rules in an effort to validate the robustness of these applied probability models.
