Abstract

This paper presents a taxonomy of Queueing Network Models and proceeds to classify the landmark contributions to the literature. The classification vividly demonstrates the level of generality, and the limiting assumptions built into each model. It shows the similarities and the differences between each and all contributions and lastly it pinpoints voids in the literature. [Likely published circa 1987.]
